Did anybody go today? I got up town roughly 1.30 no queues and no sign of any books?

they sold out of books before 1.00.

Went into Waterstones just after 11am yesterday morning. There was a small queue at the time and I chatted with a woman who worked in there.

She stated that Billy hadn't been well and that, although he would definitely be coming to sign the books at 12-00, they thought that he wouldn't be able to stay long.

I went back at around 12-00 and the queue was outside of the store, with staff extending the tapered areas to manage the queue.

Wonder what the queue will be like for Sean Long's book signing at Waterstones next Saturday?

Billy happily signed my rllegends t-shirt and must have liked the design as he asked for the manufacturers address, personal details, the car he drives and the times of day that he is at home alone...

Bill Ashurst, Jim Mills and Ray French all gave short speeches about Billy.

Lots of ex players in attendance including, Dave Robinson, Ray Ashby, Doug Laughton, Bob Blackwood, Barry Simpson, Cliff and Dave Hill.

went to the book launch today,really enjoyed it.billy was in tears when he made his short speech.some of my happiest memories was in the hen pen as a lad shouting give it to billy fantastic memories.just a pity that the club did not give him some respect with someone from the staff making an apperance would have cost nothing and would show some loyalty which should be embedded in the club.

Went myself and really enjoyed it, couldn't agree more with all you have said, surely someone from the club was available, only bad note was seeing Billy in poor health, hope he his feeling better soon.
