My friend is a journo on the MEN and he's been told this morning to attend a press conference at 13.00 today at the Wigan Oak Hotel called by Ian Lenagan.

Any ideas what it might be?

Probably something do with Thurston signing

Response to the Hock situation.

Noble's future at the club (latest rumour I have seen being 1 more year by mutual consent then new coach for 2011).

I think we may see one of two things happening if that was the case.

Sucide numbers double, or Latics season tickets increase....personally I'd take the sucide

If true then I would expect it to be in relation to the Gareth Hock situation since Gaz has "gone public" in the newspapers.

My mate needs to make capy this afternoon and we fancy going for a couple of pints that's all so were wondering if any of you can give us a heads up so he's not sat at his computer all afternoon. It's a pretty nice day and there's a beer garden calling.

It's not the Hock thing because he hasn't had his hearing yet and he doesn't think it's about Noble.
