Very good interveiw, very good things coming out at the moment.
Just one thing that stands in our way, is money.
As Trevor said join LISA, if youve not already, or one of the groups he discussed and LISA is included in the share issue thing, LISA will get shares too if they contribute enough, so the more that join the better.

A minimum 50k a year sounds like a nice figure to be a share holder in the new leigh centurions.

sorry alan i must have missed that bit.
that seems low to me,you'll get people/organisations not needing to work very hard and yet they'll have a say in how the club is run.
I can see it now Alan in another two/three years half a dozen people sat in comfy chairs round a big table,slapping each other on the back and saying not bad this for doing nowt.

£20k every year is how I understand it, thats a fair figure for an individual to lose every year.

then surely that individual should pool his resourses with others to form a group.

It would work for a year or two to keep us going , not sustainable long term , ultimately the club has to become a true business ( or as close to one as possible )

If we set the target to remain a charity , then a charity we will remain , and the same problems will come back to haunt us again
