Trinity can confirm that @BenJonesbishop will be out of action for a lengthy period, having been diagnosed with a medical condition.

We wish Ben well in his recovery and are looking forward to seeing him back on the pitch in the summer!

Always rated him....did well when with us on loan a decade or so ago. I wish him the speediest of recoveries.

Agreed, not perhaps the superstar his early Leeds career suggested but at Trinity, he's been a 20 try a season stalwart. I'm not sure but did he not suffer a serious condition whilst at Leeds hence the trademark headgear?

I don’t think the club are allowed to reveal confidential medical information. This would have to come from the individual concerned.

Playing for London against Leeds IIRC

He fractured his skull very early in his career, could be a factor I suppose.

Was playing for London against Wigan up at the DW (London won that game as well)
BJB played the last part of the first half with a dent in his head that wasn't discovered until half time when he felt it after feeling a bit dizzy (iirc)

Of course they are not. But in this day and age, I'm struggling to see why Ben would want to hold that information back? It'll soon be public knowledge anyway as people talk and it's always better to talk about things and set the scene yourself?

Whatever it is, hope he's able to get back to full health.
