I'm glad Newton is going, terrible passing, cost us the game IMO. Quite why he was brought back on when we'd had our best spell of the game with Godwin at hooker, heaven only knows.

We could have done with a bit of luck this afternoon as well but you rarely get that when the chips are down.

A better effort but still way off and tactically McNamara has been shown up again.

I also find his post game comments funny.

I like the "we are not far off" line he was using at start of the year.

With the few signings you have made, I'm sure 2010 will be a lot better.

Its gone now, it was gone last week imo. You just have got to hope your team keeps fighting and dont keel over and embarrass themselves with some big losses.

A par performance. Not as bad as some displays this year but not good enough to beat an equally up and down Wigan team. Probably sums up how ordinary we are.

The half time presentation to the service men was superb though.

I think it's fair to say we had enough ball to win the game but lacked the imagination to get through the defensive line for me. I do however think we were hard done to by the tries that were disallowed, 1 at least looked good to me.

Our kicking in general was better but i think this was something to do with some of the responsibility being taken off Deacon (about time).

I don't know what else to say really, am i surprised we lost...no not really, I'd be surprised if McNamara doesn't say something about the tries and it being a different game if they were given.
